I bought in bulk and it is just as I remembered when I bought a tim twenty years ago. Truly a classic.

Not quite as satisfying as the De Luxe Navy Rolls, but also costs substantially less. Very good, would recommend.

I love Luxury Navy Flake. It is a good all day smoke that does not overwhelm the palate. The aroma is nice and the flavor is good. Personally I enjoy a bit more perique than this tobacco has but since I can no longer get my favorite McClelland 2015 then Luxury Navy Flake has become my every day smoke.

By far one of the best, if not the best VaPer blends on the market. Great Virginia flavors with just the right amount of Perique.

The only thing I can say about this is if they stop making it, I will quit smoking. It's my everyday, all day smoke. The best tobacco for taste and money out there.

This is the first time for me trying this blend and it has already become one of my favorites. An excellent VaPer blend with nothing added, just great tobacco flavor. Tasty Virginia's with the right amount of Perique to spice things up. I recommend it in a Missouri Meerschaum cob.

Excellent tobacco. !!! Have been smoking a pipe for just about 65 years...oh dear. I remember a Navy Flake of yesteryear purchased in England, and even though ones palate memory can be somewhat doubtful, this tobacco does indeed take me back. Once again..EXCELLENT !!! Tom Boswell

This is an excellent quality vaper at a very affordable price. I now have 3 lbs cellared. The speed of service is outstanding. I will definitely be buying more.

to me, when I think of a straight up, tobacco that simply tastes good, and is of decent strength I think of this. good, high quality tobacco flavor, and kind of fun to get the hang of on breaking up before relaxing to have a smoke. decently strong if you inhale, but not overwhelming. goes extremely well with a pinch of straight lane BCA in the bowl

Good smoke

This one is the best all day tobacco I’ve had so far. I’ve tried smoking this out of various pipes, it is great out of all of them. Their is a slightly forward “hay” essence/flavor that I really thought was unique and I very much enjoyed. Definitely going to buy more in the near future.

I've a few friends who swear by this but I didn't much care for it. It is rather a good daily smoker, best when folded and stuffed besides being rubbed. It was reminiscent of sweet smoked hay with a kick of pepper for me. ymmv

less bite then escudo .. almost none if its rubbed out and allowed to breath ... waiting for it to be back in stock since its been a all day smoke since my last order . not as sweet as golden flake but not bad at all

I've been smoking a pipe for something like 50 years, but I've only recently developed a liking for these Virginia flakes. Otherwise, I smoke a lot of Latakia blends. But as my fondness for these grows, probably my favorite is actually Capstan, then Comoy's Cask No. 4, but when the Comoy's can't seem to be found, I fall back on Stokkebye's Luxury Navy Flake. I can't really articulate just why I prefer one over the other. At the end of the day, I guess, to my taste, they're pretty much equal in my liking. To me, the differences are subtle.

This is a great blend, could easily be an everyday baccy. It burns, tastes, and smells quite good. I've bought a couple pounds of the stuff, it ages decently, but my oldest is only 6 mo. old. For the cheap price you can afford to buy more, YAY!!!

This tobacco burns well and has a pleasant aroma. It is mild and not too smoky.

I smoke only Stokkebye tobacco, specifically the three English styles and the three flake style. I have tried a whole lot of tobacco over the years and in terms of quality and taste at this price point, they simply are the best.

I have been a big fan of the Va-Per type of flake for 30 years or more. One by one the standards were discontinued. About ten years ago I came across the Peter Stokkebye line, including the Navy Flake, the Bulleye and the Luxury Twist. All are excellent, it all depends on my mood. These three flakes plus the three Stokkebye "English" are the only things I smoke.

Overall this is an above average flake, 4 stars because I have yet to find a "5-Star". Arrived a bit on the moist side, let the flake "Air out" 10-15 min before rubbing out or folding & stuffing. Burns well as both rubbed out or stuffed, you will have to "Experiment" as to which pipes are better with each method. Overall, slightly sweet yet not overly so, stays pretty consistent start to finish, well behaved. Not a first pipe of the day smoke, but great for lunchtime and thereafter. Most worthy of trying out 2-4 ounces, you may just have a new addition to your rotation.

There are a multitude of navy flakes on the market, for taste, price, pleasure availability you can't beat it . If you haven't tried yet get some see what you have been missing.
