Cup O' Joes Adirondack Gold

I have tried several different tobaccos from you and have enjoyed all of them, but the Adirondack Gold is my favorite. Very smooth and nice warm flavor. Very good people to deal with!

This was my second order of a terrific tobacco. This is my favorite drive-time smoke, or kick back with mates smoke -- truly mellow all the way and which always draws praise from anyone who catches a whiff while I'm smoking it. More than a few say it reminds them of someone in their respective past whom they loved or admired. That's as nice a praise as I've ever heard for pipe tobaccos.

I swear this has a subtle hint of banana- and I know my bananas! Otherwise, this is very good, I would buy again!

I have been a faithful customer of Cup O' Joes for at least the last 10 years now. I had ordered from the Queensbury, NY store a few times and while my wife and I were on vacation we happened to pass right by the store. I had to stop in so we turned around and visited. The helpful sales person had asked what tobacco I was currently smoking and I told him Captain Black original pipe tobacco. His only reply was "you're killin' me, we have a blend that I know you would love." That blend was Adirondack Gold. I gave in a few months after our visit and purchased some. I loved it and it has been my go to tobacco ever since. The $$ buying from Cup O' Joes has saved me has been unbelievable. Every 4 months or so I purchase around 80 oz (ships in a 5 lb brick) and it ships almost immediately. I have also taken advantage of Kathy's Cash as often as possible. Excellent, shipment cost apart good value for money.

I tried a 2 oz order of this adirindack gold, and have decided that this is one of my absolute favorites now! It is so smooth and mellow, with just a hint of sweet vanilla. It burns cool and is a blend that could be smoked all day. It smells great too. I will be placing a bulk order of this one soon!

Adirondack Gold is a wonderful, almost non-aromatic in my opinion. It is very mild and smooth with just a slight hint of vanilla. I love it! It burns cool and even and smells and tastes pleasing.

I love this tobacco, not harsh, good taste. Smells so good even non smokers complement the aroma.

Yesterday a cigarette arrived and I smoked it... pure and sweet Something .... 1% feels lacking... So I mixed in some cigar front wrapper leaves. fantasy....

It’s exactly as it said it was on the scale rating system! The room note is very light and the flavor is a good blend. My only (small) complaint would be it was a a bit more mild than I was expecting but after smoking a few bowls I actually prefer this now over the Scottish blend (which was my preference before)

This tobacco is so good so smooth such a beautiful aroma and taste everybody loves it I was never able to smoke in my own house although I paid the mortgage but since I started puffing on this tobacco my wife doesn’t mind she actually loves it

In the (40) some years that lve smoke pipes this is the finest of tobaccos. It is favorable, mild, high quality in every sense of the words. All day smoke and never a bite and did I say smooth ! You just might forget your top shelf cigars, I did. To rap it up, get some !!

In a time when pipe tobacco stores locally have been closed due to Covod-19 strictures implemented by the State of PA and locally it is nice to find a place that sells good tobacco and is able to deliver a fine smoking tobacco.

You can compare this with 1q,but adk is milder and a hair sweeter than 1q.

I love this stuff. The reason the 4 instead of a 5 is because I have to put a couple pouches worth in the microwave for 1 minute to dry it out a bit. The service has always been excellent. I will continue to use them.

This tobacco has a very pleasant bag smell, taste, and room note This is a nice mild aromatic, very appropriate when no more surprises can be tolerated in the day. This is a cased tobacco, there is no question about it, but of high grade so some subtle tobacco taste is available, along with delicious notes of vanilla and the nuttiness of a fine burley. This is a quality blend, the smell lingers in the room you smoked it in, which is a good thing with this blend.

More of a nougat or gram cracker rather than vanilla, imho it doesn't even compare to 1q.

I used to smoke this regularly when it was available from Pipe and Book. I'm delighted its available again. Similar in some ways to Lane's 1Q, the original version not what is being sold today. Excellent flavor, slow burning, leaves a nice white ash in the bottom of the bowl.

Very aromatic without smelling too sweet. I'm not a big fan of the real strong smokey shag or english style stuff, but this is what I prefer when I go camping or for a hike. Light and smooth. Makes for a very tasty and relaxing pipe-sesh

Just perfect! Highly recommend this to any new pipe smoker. Very easy to light, burns great and slow. Even though it’s a vanilla tobacco, I got a little caramel flavour and smell coming from it when smoking it in my savinelli 614. Paired with a nice cup of black coffee, it’s a party in your mouth! Definitely will be ordering more of this.

Ordered 8 ounces and when i tried it i ordered another 8 oz. it was that good Nice notes and a low and slow burn. I would rate this a mild smoke and well worth the tryout

I've been smoking only Adirondack Gold for several years. cup O' Joes has always been very prompt for delivery. I find the smoke pretty mellow and I generally can't taste even a hint of vanilla in it. When I smoke where others are around I have NEVER had a complaint about the smell. Most find it very pleasing as it reminds them of an older relative who smoked a pipe. Overall, I like this blend very much.

Very minor hints of vanilla, almost imperceptible in the smoke. Nice and cool, very little bite. Smells great in the bag. Bought 4 ounces, and gave a little to my buddy who is not a vanilla fan, and even he enjoyed it.
